This is an interesting story of how everything can go wrong and still turn out great!

We have a wedding carriage service and we were booked to do a wedding at a castle on top of a small mountain. We were supposed to drive the truck and trailer up the winding road and park at the top, hitch up the carriage and take the wedding couple for a tour of the grounds for pictures.

We arrived at the base of this mini mountain and were told by the police that we could not take the truck to the top.

Needless to say we had to hitch the carriage and drive up the steep windy roads. That would have been hard on the horses in normal conditions. But the weather changed and thunder and lightning were coming in fast. Thankfully it wasn't raining yet. Well we got up that steep winding hill to meet the newly weds.

Because of the delay they had moved to a different location and we had to go looking for them.
Finally we found them and took them around the garden for pictures. They got some really great pictures even though the sky was ominous and rumbling.

Just as we finished the rides the sky opened up with torents of rain and our poor driver and horses still had to get down the steep winding road. Slipping and sliding and drenched they made it safely and all was well.

I don't know many carriage companies that would have braved the weather and the roads just so the wedding couple was not disappointed.
