My wedding story is by far the worst event anyone could ask for. We planned on getting married and started to make plans for the wedding. Everything from food to music was in very fine detail. Dresses were picked out, and decorations decided on too. We planned and worked for about a year. Then, at the last minute, called the wedding off. We stayed together after the brief split up. On a Tuesday, we were talking about getting married.....we both wanted to before, but this time we were really ready. I said, well if you want to marry me, you better do it right now because I am not going thru with all of the planning again. We did some calling and were married on Thursday. Instead of the beautiful princess gown that I had picked before, I got married in a nice short outfit.....with a borrowed bouqet and fake rings. We had attended a wedding that used the decorative rings to hold scrolls together. That is what we used. To look back, it was really funny, although I was really embarrassed. We did not have time to plan anything, so it was a fly by the moment ordeal. We only had like 6 family members present, and there were some people that were sitting in the room, since it was the courthouse. I asked what they were doing there and they said that they are curious as to what happens in their community, so they go sit in the courts. I was like, well OK, but I didn't think I would have anyone at my wedding that I did not know. Once married, the judge said that the groom could kiss his bride, and he gave me a kiss that a embarrassed little school kid would give his new girlfriend. The judge laughed and said it better be better than that, or he would be seeing us again, and instead of marrying us, he would be divorcing us. We all laughed and he and I gave a great kiss that brought applause. We never did get to take a honeymoon, and would really be appreciative if we win. That will be the only way that we can travel together alone, as we have a family now, and we take them everywhere.
