What is the Clue That Led Me To You?

My business specializes in romantic marriage proposals and this was an engagement story that I love. He was actually RE-PROPOSING b/c he had called off the engagement two years prior.

Chris hired my company called, Go Get It Events and Proposals to help turn him (self described as shy and generally unromantic) into a prince charming. We worked with Chris to create an "Old Hollywood" theme for his girlfriend, Ashley's proposal. We wrote a script where Ashley was playing a famous Hollywood starlet and Chris was her old lover coming back to save her from marrying the wrong guy. We brought Chris to a recording studio where he recorded the script onto 6 CD's. Those became her “clues” and were placed around Los Angeles for Ashley to discover while being taken on pampering and exciting whirlwind events.

Her first clue was delivered to her apartment by a faux fed-ex man (really an actor). It was a news paper clipping that had a black and white picture of Ashley with a famous director. The clipping read "Ashley Palmer set to wed director Jon Valenti on July 15th" Attached to the clipping was a note that read "Don't marry him...I want you back."

With that her adventure began. Her next clue was a Discman with the first CD recording. As soon as she pressed play she heard Chris start to tell the "story" and give her directions. She was told to pack a bag and head outside. Once there she saw a limo waiting for her that held her next CD clue. From there she was whisked to a hotel where she received a massage, a manicure, was taken to a boutique store to get a new dress and then finally to a restaurant on the beach where she received her last clue from the bartender.

All the while she had NO idea about what was going on or where she was going next.

Her last clue simply said " Meet me at BEACH TOWER 18" She walked out to Tower 18 by the ocean and there her boyfriend stood, waiting for her at sunset. He took her hand, dropped to his knees and told her that he had made the biggest mistake of his life by calling off the engagement two years ago. As her eyes welled up with tears, he asked her if she would be his wife and she said Yes.

When they got back to out hotel room that night, Go Get It had decorated it with thousands of beautiful rose petals, candles and chocolates everywhere.
