You are in the right place at the right time to help someone out. My brother was thinking of getting engaged to this woman, that had I’d known then what I know now I would have discouraged him. Anyway, that’s another story. Let’s get back to the story of the moment. I used to install commercial security alarms for a well known company. Right at the time my brother was looking for a Ring, I got sent on a job at a big Jewellery manufacturer outside Boston.

You need to know that the customer was very upset for something one of our employees didn’t do satisfactorily. This was also a job to install a card reader that I had never done before. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous about this one cause the customer already told me how unhappy he was and I didn’t want to upset him more by not being able to do what he wanted. So, with the help of my boss over the phone and reading the instructions, I managed to do an excellent job. The customer was very happy with the way I handled the whole situation and with the job I did on the card reader.

My contact at the company and I ended up talking and somehow the conversation came up about my brother needing a ring. I asked him if I could buy a Ring off him directly. They are Wholesalers so I wasn’t sure he would. He said he’d be happy to help me out. He pulled out a bunch of diamonds and let me pick the one I wanted for the ring. I had previously worked at a Jewellery store and knew what to look for in a diamond.

I chose a Diamond that was so clear that it surprised me that he gave it to me for the price he did. I picked out a very pretty combination engagement; wedding ring setting that had sapphires in it as well. They set the ring and that night my brother proposed. His fiancé was happy with the choice that I made as well.

My brother lucked out and saved a lot of money on a ring with very good quality. I hope he’s happy, because his wife has a very good knack at alienating the women in my brother’s family. Oh well, it’s his ‘ring’ to bear, so to speak.
