Mark Ostyn is an English violinist and conductor. Early experiences included 4 years with The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and his training on the violin was completed with the renowned soloist Alfredo Campoli.

Diversity has always been an important aspect in Mark Ostyn's music-making and after a spell working on the Folk circuit ( as a teenager )?he performed with pop stars like Shirley Bassey, the Bee Gee's and Tom Jones.

Mark has an extensive range of music available, either just the solo violin, or with CD backing tracks. More than 45 hours of music to choose from, ranging from classical, opera, pop, gypsy, film, jazz, folk, swing, Broadway, Rat Pack, modern pops.Mark has worked frequently as an arranger/composer and can respond easily to most requests. Backing tracks are compiled at his own recording studio. A demo CD can be sent on request, violin can be either discreetly accoustic or on mike for larger venues.

Mark Ostyn has an Education Degree and 2 diplomas on the violin, has worked as an examiner for L.C.M. Thames Valley University, and was in the civil honours list in Malaysia for services to music. He has been performing for weddings for more than 20 years.
