Helter Skelter are a party covers band from West Yorkshire. They formed in 2005 and are a male four piece. Their music incorporates the very best of rock and pop from the 60s to present day.
Helter Skelter are the number one choice of major promoter 'Johnny 7 Promotions'. This has resulted in Helter Skelter supporting major international artists such as T Rex, The Sweet, Whole Lotta Led (Endorsed by Jimmy Page) and Pure Purple. Helter Skelter are the ultimate party band, able to provide a balanced set to suit all ages and musical tastes. They focus their show purely on the audience and NEVER fail to deliver. The Skelter Boys' sheer energy and total dedication to making the night unforgettable is second to none.

Rhythm Guitar/Lead Vocals – Graeme
Everyone who hears me sing and speaks about my voice has said that the difference between Helter Skelter and other cover bands is Simon’s guitar work and my voice. I have an extremely powerful voice at the top range, can imitate other singers (especially Bono and the bloke out of Free / Bad Company) and generally I put so much energy into my performance that the audience can’t help but get washed along in the torrent of quality rock music. I am a pretty competent guitarist, albeit in Simon’s substantial shadow.
"That man is my hero, I've never heard anything like it!" Vinnie, The Peacock
Guitar/Vocals – Simon
I've played in lots of different bands. When I was playing at first it was heavy metal - Iron Maiden/Ozzy, all the usual stuff. A logical extension of this lead me into progressive rock and I was a big part of the band Seer's Tear for about five years. At the same time I was doing a lot of work incorporating soul and R 'n' B... quite different I suppose! By the late nineties I tried to expand my horizons again by encompassing work in experimental music and video which I'm still doing now through University lectures.
Working on my own material as well as doing the Uni work, Helter Skelter and also rehearsing a new blues project keeps me happy but busy!
"He has a pure, natural talent that enthrals the audience."
Geoff, Bay Horse
Bass – Carl
He’s the pure rocker amongst them. He doesn’t say much, but boy he can play bass. He injects huge amounts of energy into the performance and is a major part of Helter Skelter’s driving force.
"He is, without a doubt, the best bass player we've ever seen."
Various committee members, Crow's Nest, Upton
Drums – Rob
I have been playing the drums since 1988. I have two claims to fame. My first drum teacher was the drummer in The Clash (Terry Chimes). One of my other drum teachers is a session musician Steve Washington who toured with the likes of Jason Dononvan, Take That and Texas (I can’t believe I just admitted that). I enjoy playing lots of different styles with funky stuff being my personal favourite. However there’s nothing like banging away on the drums to a quality rock tune, especially when the crowd is rocking with you.
