Numan is a professional percussionist with more than 25 years of experience. He devoted himself to the study of percussion and rhythms in an attempt to perfect the Indian split-finger style by mastering and combining the skills learnt from playing various percussion instruments such as Tabla, Ghatam and Kanjira.

Numan holds percussion workshops in London, the city where all world rhythms add into the magical atmosphere of a colorful melting pot. He is a professional but also a staunch romantic who feels the rhythm of London's heart-beat in his own heart-beat. He deeply feels this rhythm and looks for those who would feel the same to share his experience and skills.

Workshops are available to players of all skill levels: beginner, intermediate or advanced.

• You will learn the correct hand/finger techniques to produce a clean beautiful sound from your Darbuka.

• Learn how to play many traditional rhythms and transition effortlessly and fluently between them.

• Go beyond drum-circle drumming and learn how to lead the group playing awesome solos on your Darbuka.

• Learn advanced strokes you might not have thought possible, and how to incorporate them into all aspects of your playing.
